Welcome to this week’s edition of the Post Family News!
This past Friday we took some teens downtown to first Friday. Around five thirty there were around 2 or 3 teens here. Right before we left several more showed up. We were able to take 12 students downtown to enjoy first Friday. We love when students show up for outings because it is a good opportunity to get to know them better in an informal and relational setting.
Tonight for I AM SECOND Matt Vukovich will be sharing his testimony with the students. On Tuesday we will be kicking off our Parks and Rec program by going to Pringle Park. We will celebrate the May birthdays and play some volleyball. Wednesday we are beginning a series that will take the students through the Bible. We will be giving an introduction to the series and discussing creation this week. Thursday we are closed for a staff meeting. Friday will be a free Friday at the Post. The students will have time to hang out for the night.
We are grateful that we had 12 students attend first Friday this past week. We have continued to have new students visiting the Post for the first time. It is always wonderful to see new faces.
Pray that the students will finish the school year well. Pray that their hearts will be open to hearing the Bible stories we share throughout the summer and that we will be able to continue building relationships through the Parks and Rec program on Tuesday nights.
