The Post Family News: 4/29-5/3

Post Family NewsWelcome to this week’s edition of The Post Family News!

Story Time

This past week I was able to connect with a student on the way home from The Post. We were riding in the van and I was talking about the different places I had lived since moving to Goshen. I mentioned that at one point I was homeless and had to couch surf for a few months. The student was able to ask questions and share her thoughts about her home life and living situation. I appreciated the interaction because it reminded me that sharing little pieces of our stories with people can help connect and build relationships. Don’t forget that the little things can make big differences. Share your life with those around you.

This Week

Tonight during I AM SECOND we will hear the testimony of a rapper named J Payne. He is from a church in Elkhart and part of the light rider rappers. Tomorrow in Alpha we will be discussing the church and its role in the world. Wednesday we will go to Cornerstone church to share a dinner with them. Thursday the Latino Riders will come share with us. On Friday we will be attending First Friday in Goshen.

Praises

We were able to take 8 students to the Chief for ice cream and Linway theatre to watch End Game. We had a great time of fun and conversation together.

Prayer Requests

Please pray that our students will finish out the school year strong. Also pray that they will connect with Bible lessons we will be sharing this summer. We are planning on going through the main points of the Biblical narrative.
